COWI’s experience with marine engineering dates back to 1935. Today, we have gone from being a pioneer in the field to one of its global leaders.

Our involvement in marine, coastal and geotechnical engineering projects spans the entire lifecycle of a structure, from planning to decommissioning, and our services range from consultancy relating to a specific issue to comprehensive planning and total engineering design and implementation.

COWI’s extensive international track record in the field stretches across six continents. Though diverse in their scope, common for all of our projects is a lasting relationship with the client that seeks to provide added value.

Understanding client’s needsWith over 300 employees working from 15 offices, COWI’s marine, coastal and geotechnical services draw on the skills of globally experienced professionals whose involvement in complex and demanding projects has led to the development of an extensive pool of specialised knowledge.

Multidisciplinary solutionsAs part of COWI’s focus on multidisciplinary solutions, our integrated design approach draws on the company’s expertise in areas such as traffic planning, roads, rails, bridges, climate change, environment and economy.
